We Honor Our Military Heroes
May 22, 2021
This Memorial Day, Millis Transfer would like to take a moment to say “thank you” to the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice. As we remember those heroes who courageously gave their lives, we begin to understand and appreciate the gift of their bravery and selflessness. We also learn that what we celebrate and love about Memorial Day is in direct reflection of all the men and women who protect and defend our country. The service of our military has always been and will always be significant to Millis Transfer.
That’s why, Millis Transfer is pleased to welcome honorably discharged Military Veterans. It’s just our way of showing how much your service and experience is valued by us. Helping veterans transition into new careers is just one more way we strive to give back and honor the men and women giving it all to protect and defend the United States of America.
As the unofficial start of Summer gets underway, there’s somewhat of a return to normalcy as some 37 million travelers prepare to take to the road. It’s a far cry from 2020, when most everyone was staying home to avoid the potential risk of COVID 19. Now more than ever, drivers must be alert and prepared for the busy rush of holiday activities. As we welcome all the new drivers to the highways, let’s all stay courteous and thankful….remembering those who have given so much to each of us.
