Enjoy the Big Game, Anywhere You Travel

Did you know that the first "big game" was held on January 15, 1967? That’s right. It was the result of a merger of the National Football League (NFL) and the American Football League (AFL). It was hosted in Los Angeles, California at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

Since that first game, truck drivers have played a major part in making the big game that now happens every February a reality and this year is no different. Although attendance this year is limited due to COVID-19, the trucks are still hauling and anticipation is greater than ever.

The game is especially big news around Millis Transfer. That’s because when it comes to football, Millis Transfer drivers have it made. Wherever our drivers venture, they have in-cab access to sports via free DirectTV or Sirius Satellite Radio. These features come standard with each Millis Transfer truck.

With that said, on Feb. 7, when Kansas City takes on Tampa, our drivers will be enjoying the game wherever they are, without leaving the comfort of their cab!! There’s also the great half-time show. And thanks to in-cab access, Millis Transfer drivers won’t miss any of it.

There are a few facts that remain constant every first Sunday in February. One of those is that more than 10 million pounds of Avocado will be consumed that day. That's just the beginning. Three years ago, nearly $55 million was expected to be spent on food alone during the game.

This year, avoid the crowds. Grab your cracker jacks or chips, popcorn, and/or twizzlers and enjoy watching the big event from the luxury of your Millis Transfer cab. You’ll be protected from Covid-19 and free from all the worries. Sounds awesome, doesn’t it? Then, why wait? Give us a call at 1-800-937-0880 and you could soon be enjoying the big game right along with us.
