Vacation Time=Safety Time

Vacation Time=Safety Time

Vacation time is important. That's why drivers for Millis Transfer get opportunities for plenty of rest and relaxation. With an impressive three weeks of vacation earned after one year of service, drivers have the chance to balance work and home-time. And to make sure our team members are safe, Millis Transfer requires that at least one week of that three week period be spent away from work. Time that a driver doesn't use, however, can be cashed in for pay, up to one week per quarter. Time off and flexibility when you need it----talk about awesome!

With a significant amount of people preparing for summer vacations and with COVID-19 surging, public places are getting an overhaul everywhere. That's a good thing as The Center for Disease Control reports COVID-19 spreads to others during travel. It's important to note that there is not a single state in the United States that has not been impacted by this pandemic. Protecting yourself against environmental danger has never been more important than now.

During this time of uncertainty, the most basic precautionary measures really could save your life. For instance, when you are vacationing or traveling, remember to wash and sanitize your hands often. Avoid touching your face and be sure to wear a mask in public. Cloth masks are highly recommended.
